General House Rules:

Please be respectful of the property, our neighbors, the bay and the beach.

Please do not sit on furniture in wet clothes or leave wet clothes on the furniture.

Please refrain from running and rough-house play in the unit.

Please shake towels free of sand before putting them into the washing machine.

Please use outdoor shower to rinse sand off feet and legs prior to entering unit from beach.

Patio Rules:

Please do not attempt to swim in the bay.

Please do not pour anything into the bay and do not litter.

Please do not sit on rim of firepit.

Please take care when playing with bocce balls and only use the balls when playing bocce ball on the bocce ball court.

Please do not sit or stand on the bar counter in the pergola. Do not climb on any part of the pergola.

Please do not pick the flowers, fruit or vegetables. Please do not water the plants.

Passengers in Sol Y Mar kayaks are required to wear a life jacket at all times when in the kayak.

Beach Rules:

Do not access the beach by the hotel. Only use our beach access.

Do not leave beach toys and equipment unattended at the beach. During sea turtle season (May 1 to October 31), all beach equipment and toys must be off the beach after sundown. No lights are permitted on the beach after sundown during this period.

Do not litter the beach.

Pool Rules:

No one under the age of 13 shall be in the pool area unless accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 16.

No glass is permitted in or around the pool area and tiki room.

No diving into the pool.

No running in or around the pool area.

Please shower before entering pool.

In the event you pet is approved, Pet Rules:

Sarasota County requires that all pets are leashed when outside, even on private property.

Pets are allowed on the quasi-private part of the beach; however, no pets are allowed on any of the public beaches.

You are required to pick up your pet’s waste on the property, beach, and roadside. Poop bags are available for your convenience.
